About The GEO Group Australia

We are the country's leading provider of outsourced correctional services, operating in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Our goal is to deliver better corrections and in doing so, create safer communities.

We measure our success in delivering better corrections in two ways: against our objective of being Australia's best provider of correctional services, as well as our ability to make these services better over time through innovation and continual improvement.

We measure our success in delivering safer communities through our ability to successfully reintegrate the prisoners we release, with corresponding reductions in their rate of re-offending.

To reduce re-offending we apply the GEO Continuum of Care; to reduce recidivism.

About Fulham Correctional Centre

Fulham Correctional Centre is located near Sale, Victoria, 200km east of Melbourne.

Fulham has been continually managed by GEO on behalf of Corrections Victoria since opening in 1997. It is Victoria's largest regional correctional centre as well as the largest release centre in the State.

Fulham's primary role is to safely and securely house up to 947 adult male prisoners and progress their sentence plans by delivering a comprehensive range of education, vocational training, reintegration and offending behaviour programs. Together, these lower a prisoners risk of reoffending and increase the likelihood of successful community reintegration.

A key area of Fulham's operations is the Nalu Challenge Community. Located next to the main prison site, Nalu's 84 prisoners benefit from an intensive program of community reparation, leadership/team work challenges and preparation for reintegration into the community.

About the Benefits

Joining GEO is your chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of prisoners, their families and the community.

You will benefit from a competitive salary and rewards scheme, with ongoing support and professional development opportunities. You will have access to our free staff gym, carpark, subsidised meals, internal career opportunities and many other employee (and family) benefits.
